These were shoes with protective toe caps for work. I can do up to 7miles on a work day, a lot of that is carrying heavy items, some of it up and down stairs. These shoes have proved to be much more comfortable and lighter than the ones I had. They also look a good deal sleeker. I have plantar fasciitis and although I still need the additional arch support, the heel is so well cushioned that since I have been wearing them the condition is not nearly as noticeable. They were also fantastic value for money. I have paid much more than I paid for these for a so called specialist pair in the past which were no where near as good.
